Organizing Your In Home Storage Closet

I have clients who buy additional toiletries, to have on hand. I suggest having shelving units, if possible, or shelves in your storage closet, whether it is in the basement, garage or lower level.

Purchase clear totes that will fit on the shelves with matching lids. It is important to have lids to keep out the dust and dirt and to keep your items fresh.  Make sure the storage is in a cool, dry location.

Put body creams, hair products and skin care items in one container and label it. As you need more items, just go shopping in your storage area.

By putting excess toiletries in a storage container, in a cool, dry place, it eliminates the clutter and congestion in your bathroom and bedroom. Less clutter allows space for the items you use daily and have room for them.

The less clutter there is, the more calmer and peaceful you will feel.
