Organizing Toys

A great advantage for toys is to have wall or short wall of cubbies. Depending upon the age of your child, toddler toys are larger and a bit cumbersome. Soft basket/containers might be better and if the cubbies are nailed to the wall to prevent units falling on the child. Cubbies are easy to find at most box stores. If the child is past the toddler stage, you might consider a locker or a wider storage type unit.

Make sure the cubbies are at child height so they can put away their toys. Identify by color for example, “green” is for stuffed animals; “yellow” is a basket/container to hold legos or blocks; “red” is for cars; “purple” is for dolls and clothes.
