Mattresses – should be wrapped in the correct sized plastic mattress bag and stored flat. For support, use 4 boxes of the same size at all ends or use a wooden pallet. If moving out of state, you should store your mattress in a mattress carton.
Fabric furniture – should be plastic wrapped and covered with moving blankets to prevent dust and scratches.
Wooden furniture – should be blanket wrapped to avoid scratches and dents.
Glass tops from tables – should be wrapped in cardboard then blanket wrapped, or if you have marble or granite pieces, they should be professionally crated. This includes mirrors and valuable artwork.
